Yay! Received my 25 book pin last night. Was so thrilled – and quite moved too. Thought of Penny, and how a chance meeting led to a treasured friendship as well as a mind-blowing new career for me. Also wonderful that Linda Fildew – the ed who first battled with my tangled thoughts – was there to hug and thank for her kindness and sheer fabulousness throughout.

There were so many people at the Harlequin party that I’d met before on previous trips I felt quite overwhelmed – and was reminded once again that it’s the people you meet as you move through life that add so much to the journey.
