Cats in May, June, July and all the rest of the year round
One of my all time favourite books as a child was ‘Cats in May’ followed by ‘Cats in the Belfry’ – or was it the other way round? Anyhow, I still have them, lovingly kept on my shelves at home
But the feral cats here in Menorca aren’t quite as lucky – here are a few of them for you to see…
Sitting by the feeding station – doesn’t this just suggest, ‘Don’t patronise me…’
I call this next shot, ‘Just chillin’ ‘ as this cat can always be found basking in full sunlight.
And this is my adopted cat, Jeffers You can see he/she/it has been in some sort of dreadful accident.
At least the food station is in the shade
And this poor cat really worries me – in fact, I haven’t seen it recently, and the last time I did it was coughing badly.
And perhaps most worrying of all, here’s a kitten peeping round the corner. Yet another – so far -healthy patient for the neutering programme.
Not much of a home, but better than nothing, I guess, so long as there are people around to provide the food and money for the neutering programme here to continue.
