Ten days and nine long nights of childcare duties are officially over – And yes, of course I miss them already, but boy am I glad I can hand them back – and if that sounds harsh – have you ever known me to sugar-coat the truth?

I cannot wait to get back to writing – though I have caught a nice case of ‘sticky eyes’ from the twinnies so that would be writing with the Tom and Jerry red-veined eyes rolling madly in my head. (For a change? Oh, who the heck knows! The mad part sounds about right. Nothing is certain except for the fact that right now I am very very tired)

Should focusing prove possible at any point it will mean the start of a new book for the exciting new Riva line, which takes the place of Modern Heat – and will be set… er, somewhere – with a hero who is both cool and hot, and a heroine who is out for the count and up for a fight. At least, that’s what I tell myself confidently now.
