My heroine Mia has some terrible facial injuries to deal with, but when she meets up with her childhood fantasy sweetheart – Yes, he notices them – And yes, he’s shocked, because he was shut out of that part of Mia’s life. But, that’s it. He sees clearly – right past the scars into the heart of my heroine.
