Just have to say – will never complain about being chained to a desk again – took dh to the station this morning through rush-hour. Blimey, how do you do it? Maximum respect to all of you who brave that insanity each day!

Birthday looming –
Apart from the crazy cards from my friends – looking at you in particular, Steam Clean Val – (who put her b’day on the bottom so I won’t forget – wise move, if I might say so)

Why doesn’t anyone send me a nice, genteel card – Oh, I get it – Anyway, what a fuss – waxing, plucking, nail-painting, teeth bleaching – all for one day. The rest of the year I am a hairy, yellow-toothed hag – so now you know.
