Expecting his royal Baby 14#

Writing as part of a team to create a fantasy country and a potential heir to a throne, was certainly something different…
The problems were self-evident. How to create the alpha male readers love when I already knew he would not be the successful candidate?
Give him another career- another life, and then add a challenging heroine to the mix. In this way I saw Nico Fierezza rise above the rest.
His *fair* hair – suggested in the ‘bible’ we received to keep all the writers of this series in the same ‘world’ became ’sun-bleached, and cut aggressively short’ – and that was the least of the changes
Nico was no effete royal, but a hard man; a self-made man; a troublesome alpha for my determined heroine to go head to head with.
And now it’s back to work- ‘The summer holidays are over’, as one of my editors tactfully told me at our meeting in London!
Okay, I get the message! So, it’s off to Monte Carlo and then places ultra-exotic with my heroine, Mia, and my hero…
Holidays might be over, but now the real pleasure begins as I soak myself in fantasy and overdose on romance.
Have a great start to your week too, wishing many good things coming your way.
Love to all,
Susanxx (just read an article on how wonderful The River Cafe is in London- Believe me, it is! Do try to visit and enjoy the totally fabulous food if you get a chance!
