The idea firmly planted in my head when I started this book was how everyone evolves as they go through life.

I wanted to explore the changes that might occur in an impressionable young girl from the moment she discover she is pregnant to the day, years later, when she is called on to help her sister, knowing this will put her in the path of the Italian producer who fathered her child.

This is this book that, perhaps more than any other, had the children commenting, ‘Do you have something in your eye again, mother?

I was totally involved with my heroine, Kate, cheering her on as she drives her life forward whilst caring for and providing for her child, and I love Santino Rossi, an alpha of alpha’s. Pride might be an issue for Santino, but above all, he is a man who is not afraid to embrace passion, and with each new revelation, Santino discovers more about himself and Kate, until eventually love wins through.

And for those of you wondering where the *stars* went for your book, or why you received such a swingeing review- I was swinged good and proper for this one, yet One’Night Baby remains one of my most successful books.
