I just loved Ramon, my very first hero in book 1, The Spanish Inheritance, and I have to say Ramon put the seal on my lasting love affair with the Alpha Male.

It would not surprise me if I returned to Spain very soon to pay court to the blazing mystique of another Spanish grandee…

One last fact about this first book. It was written entirely from the heroine’s point of view, which is something I can’t bring myself to do now, as I have an overriding passion to delve deep into both sides of the romance puzzle. But it does go to show that there is no ‘correct way’ to write a book and have it published by HMB Presents.

I’ll be taking a look at the inspiration behind my second book, The French Count’s Mistress, next week. Meanwhile, have a wonderful rest and some great family/friend/me time this weekend.

And thank you, Debora Hosey from the Romance Reader’s Connection for this:

Here’s the rub: Confident she is, as a businesswoman, but as a woman she’s not, nor experience with men and passion despite the irony of having two professional sex therapists as parents. Desire hits her hard when she meets the handsome and potent bad boy sheikh. With her business sense, innovative ideas, and love for the country and its people, Casey easily wins the coveted position. Her mother once told her, that when she finds the one, she wouldn’t hesitate….during the hot desert nights scented with jasmine and sultry breezes, Casey knows she wants Raffa, and wants to experience everything with him…their passion can no longer be denied and Casey loses her heart to A’Qaban’s sheikh. Yet Raffa’ss married to duty and country…will he realize that they belong together just as the Bedouins belong to the desert?

SHEIKH BOSS, HOT DESERT NIGHTS is a wonderful and well-written fantasy that’s sure to delight fans of sheikh romances. Raffa’s a gorgeous hero who’ll curl your toes and rev up your heartbeat .
