Time, tide and editors wait for no man- or woman, come to that

There’s nothing like a good Sheikh in the morning to start the day off with a bang
(There should be a symbol for tongue in cheek, don’t you think? Maybe I’ll design one and patent it)
Good morning! And I hope I find you well.
What happens if an author catches the dreaded flu? I guess we get more work done- keeping ourselves in quarantine can only have the added benefit of making that next deadline.
I don’t know about you, but I love to lose myself in a fantasy world- whether I’m writing- as I am (supposed to be) now- or reading.
I also love to play the piano and dream- that’s a great place to weave a tale or two- as is cooking and baking, believe it or not- both of which I love- but then my grandmother was a prize-winning baker- I still remember getting my hand slapped for picking the royal icing flowers off one of her prize creations- oops!
Re-reading Jodi Picoult’s My Sister’s Keeper right now- what an excellent book.
And to look forward to? Jill Mansell’s Rumour Has It, and Bernard Cornwell’s Azincourt.
Ah, well- time to write now- no wonder I’m smiling
Have a good one, ladies,
Hugs to you all- especially those of you who are under the weather today- wishing you well in the speediest possible time,
Susanxx
