Am off to the east coast resort of Scarborough today for fish n’ chip, beach, cliff, donkey and ice cream fabulousness- photos to follow-

And for those of you unfamiliar with this fair isle, that will not entail shots of the author in her bathing suit- more likely to be rain-lashed inverted umbrella and galoshes- but the best type of fun, actually.

Yep, you have to be hardy to live here- but we love it!!!

And we can always warm up with a sheikh when we get home
