We weren’t always outside in the rain, of course- while in Paris you have to visit La Duree, the most amazing tea shop in the world

Thank goodness they’ve opened one in Harrods- and I believe there’s one in Tokyo too.
How could we live without these scrumptious macaroons?

Though I have to admit- when I visited La Duree at the Madeliene I was virtue personified and ate a plain omelette with a pot of Fleur d’Orange tea- that isn’t to say I didn’t bring a whole passle of macaroons back home with me- which I have already demolished- I call them ‘Writing Fuel’ Or, Essential To Life- whichever you prefer.
