Writing through the Olympics is taking all my sternest resolve. Huge congratulations to all the athletes, and in particular to our fabulous UK medal winners, of whom there are so many this year. If I miss my deadline, I blame you!!! (but it was so so worth it)

August is set aside for bad boy Sheikh Rafik al Rafar of A’Qaban, and naive- but not naive for long- Casey Michaels, and then it’s on to something dark and deadly in September.
