Here’s the lovely ballroom at my hotel, the Four Seasons, before mayhem ensued-

There was even a great San Francisco theme, with a model of the Golden Gate Bridge
(not quite full size ) at the bar- (get Don Lucey from Canada in his kilt- and yes, he was wearing underwear- Don’t ask me how I know)
