Raining
What has happened to the weather?
I’m going to put the heating on. Yes, I am.
It also rained in the far South of France, and it rained in Italy too. Blah. Grump. Scowl.
Okay, so here’s a little something to heat us up
Under The Italian’s Command is one of my favourite books- I’m still a little in love with Lorenzo. All right. A lot in love. I love his humour and his socks. You don’t know about Lorenzo’ socks? *sigh*
And my heroine in Desert King, Pregnant Mistress has to be one of my favourites, if only because Beth Tracey Torrance started talking to me in a broad Liverpool accent, and when I was in the theatre the city of Liverpool was one of my absolute favourite places to visit- everyone had a one-liner on the tip of their tongue, and the kindness I found there was second to none.
And as for that Sheikh… Oh, man, I love sheikhs, and Khal is one of my yummiest.
And now I promised you that market in Ceret, didn’t I?
Well, it’s supper-time for me here in the UK, which seems appropriate, so here goes…
Meats, pates, pickles, anyone?
Or how about some home-baked bread?
Could this be the biggest onion stall in the world?
I’m sure you’ll have pictures of your own to prove me wrong, but I have to say, I didn’t even know there were so many varieties, shapes and sizes of onions!
Well, have a wonderful weekend, everyone- speak next week.
Love to all,
Susanxx
